[There may be something to be said for both their dedication that they're still friends, even now. At first, she wasn't sure quite how they'd manage it, but... she'd been more than willing to try. He was too important to her for her not to. Still, it stung, remembering how she'd failed him, and unfortunately that did tend to happen when they were around each other. That said, she's always happy, truly, to see him. She's got that to look forward to at the moment, at least, as she waits.]

[Her hand squeezes back. She looks relieved, at least.]

Thank you. I'll... just have to make up for lost time.

[Don't mind her if she's struck all over again by how happy she is.]

[Gently tugging her along then.]

[That's kind of a catchy tune someone is playing there huh--]

[It is, and it seems to catch her. Or at least, it catches her attention; she perks, looking around for the source.]

-- Hey, do you hear that?

-- yeah. Someone's got a radio on or something.

[And he hums along with it C:]

[And she watches him hum out of the corner of her eye, smile widening.]

It's nice.

[She's quiet a few moments, then-- oh hey, is she humming along with him?]

Kinda catchy too.

[The hand that's holding hers start to sway.]

Mmhm.

[Catchy enough to hum, and also enough to interrupt her humming with a giggle as she feels his hand sway. She follows along with the motion, even encouraging it after a second.]

[She's getting twirled C:]

[She is also laughing a pleasantly startled laugh as she goes along with that twirling. Good call.]

Ven...!

[He catches her in the usual waltzing position and he laughs as he gives her a few sways.

He's such dork I am so sorry.]

It's catchy!

[She gets the idea after a moment, hand coming up to rest on his shoulder as she sways with him.]

[Not that he needs one; that much is obvious in her smile.]

It's a good excuse, really!

[A twirl she is quite happy with, by the looks of it.]
